Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the surgical field, maintaining a safe work environment, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the surgical field and supplies/instruments for procedures
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to regulatory agency standards
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care
  • Assist in emergency situations as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification approved by NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
  • 1-2 years of scrub experience (preferred)
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Completion of ST program in an accredited school approved by NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
Working Conditions:
  • May be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening disease and radiation
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to cooperate and work well with others
