About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a CST, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating suite with sterile drapes and solutions, as well as sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
  • Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
  • Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
  • Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor instrument count throughout procedures.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: NCCT or NBSTSA.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
