Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical field, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
  • Participate in the maintenance of a clean and organized operating room, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and respectful experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and enhance the surgical experience.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program in an accredited school approved by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • 1-2 years of scrub experience or equivalent.
  • CPR certification.
  • CST certification approved by the NBSTSA.
