Customer Support Representative Job Description

Our client is a leader in the waste management and recycling industry, committed to sustainability and employee growth. This is a chance to join a supportive team while making a positive impact.

The primary focus of this role is to provide essential back-office support, including invoicing, Excel, and email communication. You will report to the CSR Manager and handle up to 90 inbound calls a day, addressing inquiries from both commercial and residential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and responding to customer requests
  • Researching billing issues and following up on unresolved inquiries
  • Projecting a professional company image through phone interactions
  • Improving workplace safety and health

Qualifications:

  • High-quality communication skills (excellent verbal and written)
  • Excellent typing and data entry proficiency
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask and be detail-oriented
  • Highly organized and able to learn customer service software
  • 1+ year of office or customer service experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred
