Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Medical Assistant to join our team at All Medical Personnel. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with nurses and physicians to determine patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Monitor patients' physiological status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment.
  • Perform initial screenings and assist with medical treatment as needed.
  • Provide emergency first aid measures and perform Basic Life Support (CPR) as required.
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Coordinate scheduling of tests and treatments, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Screen telephone calls and refer patients to nurses or physicians as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, records, and information.
  • Call in patient prescriptions as directed by physicians, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with a strong background in patient care and healthcare administration.
  • National certification as a Medical Assistant, with a focus on patient care and safety.
  • EPIC experience preferred, with a strong understanding of electronic health records and medical software.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with a focus on emergency first aid and patient care.
