About the Job

This position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned registered nurse to leverage their expertise in chronic hemodialysis and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with ESRD. As a Dialysis Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care, education, and support in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive dialysis care to patients with ESRD, ensuring optimal health outcomes and quality of life.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Educate patients and their families on dialysis treatment options, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications to manage chronic kidney disease.
  • Monitor patient outcomes, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to address them.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in dialysis care.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 12 months' experience as an RN in a dialysis setting or related field.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $92,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
