Job Summary

The Human Resources Specialist will provide comprehensive HR management, advisory, and consultancy services to clients and internal stakeholders. This role will manage operational human resources related issues, including policy development, training administration, HR reporting, and compensation and benefits management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on compliance issues, employee benefits, performance management, and tactical HR challenges to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Consult on leadership training and development, compensation benchmarking, HRIS selection, talent assessment, and performance management.
  • Act as a liaison with senior management and HR department staff to ensure effective delivery of HR services.
  • Develop and maintain client status reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Meet billable hour goals and contribute to team success.
  • Enter data into HRIS systems, process open enrollment paperwork, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Conduct HR audits and internal compliance reviews, and advise clients on recommended processes and procedures.
  • Stay current with market issues and new developments in human resources.

Requirements

  • HR Certification (PHR) or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll, benefits, and leave administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for client visits and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SPHR certification.
  • Experience with technology platforms and research tools.
