POSITION OVERVIEW


The Lead Cybersecurity Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the Information Technology and Data security frameworks within the organization.

This position entails the deployment and management of data protection tools, alongside the evaluation of new technological integrations and vendor agreements to guarantee the security of organizational data in both internal and external computing settings.

Additionally, this role is tasked with formulating policies and procedures that uphold data security and conducting regular assessments to ensure compliance with these protocols.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, clinical, or business-related field, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through a combination of education, training, and experience is required.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in implementing technology security operations within a medium to large organization.

Proficiency with security tools encompassing endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms.

Expertise in firewall technologies such as Cisco or similar.

Familiarity with scripting languages like Powershell and Python to automate security processes.

Experience in developing security policies and procedures.

Ability to educate end users on security best practices.

Experience in conducting security audits, external penetration tests, and phishing simulations.

Knowledge of HIPAA security measures is preferred.

Possession of a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the relevant authorities for all specialty behavioral health locations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


Stay informed on the latest trends in information technology security to utilize cutting-edge technology for data protection.

Develop a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with best practices within the organization.

Establish and monitor automated security alerts and create scripts to respond to incidents.

Oversee and configure security tools such as Crowdstrike, Extrahop, and MS Defender.

Propose new tools or methodologies to enhance the organization's security posture.

Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Perform audits on IT and facility security access and assist with audits conducted by internal and external entities.

Manage system security and user roles and assignments.

Evaluate new systems and partnerships for potential data security implications.

Document administrative and maintenance processes and procedures.

Provide recommendations to management regarding advancements in security to protect the organization's systems effectively.

Review and update security policies and procedures periodically.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Certifications related to software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations are advantageous.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project or similar tools.
