Role Overview:
The Premium Hub CoE Custom Code Management team is committed to delivering advisory and architectural expertise during IT transformations. As a Principal Technology Consultant, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Providing Intelligent Custom Code Transformation Services aimed at assisting premium engagement clients in maintaining a clean core through the Intelligent Custom Code Management tool utilizing cluster technology.
  • Implementing Custom Code Quality Improvement services to establish a robust quality governance strategy.
  • Empowering clients with development best practices for SAP S/4HANA and BTP.
  • Identifying quality issues within custom code and offering actionable recommendations for performance enhancement.
  • Conducting Re-think-Redesign workshops to pinpoint modifications or enhancements suitable for replacement or re-platforming through extensions.
  • Performing Platform Custom Code Impact Analysis to assess the effects of data model simplifications introduced with SAP S/4HANA.

Qualifications:
Experience in functional areas such as Finance and Logistics is advantageous. Familiarity with data transition and transformation tools like Data Transition Validation (DTV) and migration objects is also beneficial. You will collaborate closely with SAP Development to support strategic initiatives for clients.

Key Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Proven experience with ABAP programming, including Restful ABAP programming and ABAP CDS.
  • Expertise in extensibility topics such as In-App and Side-by-Side Extensions on the Business Technology Platform.
  • Experience with tools like ATC, SQLM, SCOV, Custom Code Migration App on BTP, and CCLM.
  • Knowledge of modifications, enhancements, and ABAP workflows.
  • Understanding of quality governance standards based on SAP S/4HANA development best practices.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA conversions and upgrades is a plus.

Compensation:
The targeted salary range for this position is $150,000 - $190,900, with actual offers depending on various factors such as education, skills, experience, and role scope.
