Role Summary:
The Premium Hub CoE Custom Code Management team is committed to delivering Advisory and Architectural guidance during IT Transformations. As a Principal Technology Consultant, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Providing Intelligent Custom Code Transformation Services aimed at assisting premium engagement customers in maintaining a clean core through the Intelligent Custom Code Management tool utilizing cluster technology.
  • Delivering Custom Code Quality Improvement services to establish a robust quality governance strategy.
  • Enabling customers on development best practices for SAP S/4HANA and BTP.
  • Identifying quality issues within custom code and offering actionable recommendations for performance enhancement.
  • Conducting Re-think-Redesign workshops to pinpoint modifications or enhancements that can be replaced or re-platformed using extensions.
  • Performing Platform Custom Code Impact Analysis to determine the custom code affected by data model simplifications introduced with SAP S/4HANA.

Required Experience:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Restful ABAP programming and ABAP CDS.
  • Experience with Extensibility topics such as In-App and Side-by-Side Extensions on the Business Technology Platform.
  • Familiarity with tools like ATC, SQLM, SCOV, Custom Code Migration App on BTP, and CCLM.
  • Knowledge of Modifications, Enhancements, and ABAP Workflows.
  • Experience in defining quality governance standards based on SAP S/4HANA development best practices.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA conversions and upgrades is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Leadership capabilities to guide large MaxAttention customers through their clean core journey in the North American region.
  • Ability to define KPIs for capturing clean core metrics and articulating the value realized during the clean core journey.
  • Innovative thinking to develop tools that facilitate simplified and automated service delivery.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills for meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to coordinate global teams and collaborate across multiple organizations towards shared objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering trust and respect among colleagues and management.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a results-driven approach.

Compensation Transparency:
SAP values pay transparency and is committed to equitable compensation practices. The targeted salary range for this position is 150,000 - 190,900 USD, with the final offer dependent on various factors including education, skills, and experience.
