Position Overview:

This role is dedicated to the coordination and implementation of Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) educational initiatives within the designated area. The focus includes areas such as nutrition, food safety, parenting, financial management, and other related subjects.

Responsibilities:
  • Program Coordination: Oversee and deliver educational programs aimed at enhancing the quality of life for community members through effective FACS programming.
  • Youth Development Leadership: Manage the 4-H Youth Development program, facilitating educational opportunities for youth through club meetings, local activities, and preparation for competitions.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with advisory groups, community leaders, and public officials to assess community needs and develop relevant educational programs.
  • Travel Requirements: This position necessitates regular evening meetings, occasional weekend work, and travel for official duties, including transporting participants to various events.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Master's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field. Preferred skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, effective communication abilities, and experience in program design and implementation.
