We are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.
Key Responsibilities- Image Acquisition: Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
- Patient Care: Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
- Image Management: Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is properly functioning, reporting potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Department Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- Education: Completion of a radiology program and MRI certification.
- Experience: No experience required.
- Licensure: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification and ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification.
This is a variable shift position, and the scheduled weekly hours are 0.
