Key Account Manager Opportunity in the Trucking Industry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at CareerPaths NW. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing high-volume accounts and building strong relationships with clients across Northern Washington to the middle of California.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of high-volume accounts that drive business growth and revenue for our company.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at each account, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Sell the value proposition of our high-quality trucks and equipment, differentiating them from competitors through strategic sales and marketing efforts.
  • Travel extensively within the territory, primarily along the I-5 corridor and further inland, to visit each location annually and follow up on high-volume accounts weekly or monthly.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and effective relationship-building skills.
  • Create an annual sales plan by identifying key locations and mapping out visits, ensuring a proactive approach to sales and account management.
  • Develop and implement sales forecasts using provided templates, staying on track to meet business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in field sales, particularly in the trucking or heavy equipment industry, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, maintaining attention to detail and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Willingness to obtain a Class B CDL within the first three months, with the company providing support and reimbursement for licensing fees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
