Job Overview

Agil3 Technology Solutions LLC (A3T) is seeking a dedicated Information Assurance Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity support to a federal government agency and its mission partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments of the organization's infrastructure, offering recommendations for risk mitigation and conducting security architecture evaluations.
  • Research, develop, implement, and document all approved modifications in alignment with priorities set by the task manager.
  • Assess the current centralized logging network capabilities and forensic procedures, along with certification and accreditation processes.
  • Investigate and analyze technological challenges, issues, and program requirements in accordance with established security standards.
  • Conduct daily scans and monitoring of assigned systems utilizing tools such as Tripwire, Tenable, and Web Inspect. Generate reports based on collected data and present findings during weekly Information Assurance meetings.
  • Immediately report any security violations to the Information System Security Officer (ISSO), who will determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Create specific documentation and user guides tailored to FSI.
  • May assist in maintaining equipment and accounts on the customer's networks.
Qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • A high school diploma with ten (10) years of relevant IT experience and eight (8) years in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with eight (8) years of IT experience and five (5) years in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity.
  • Possession of Security+ certification or higher is required.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and provide high-quality customer support in a professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • CASP or higher-level certification.
  • Experience in program management for small to medium support services contracts with multiple subcontractors.
  • Strong communication and briefing skills.
  • Experience in managing cost, schedule, and performance related to program execution.
  • Background in working within a program office.
