Job Overview

Classification: Part-time; Monday to Friday, between 2 PM and 6:30 PM; up to 4 hours daily; compensation ranges from $12 to $12.50 per hour; summer hours may vary.

General Function:
Design, execute, and oversee various activities and programs. Ensure the safety of participants, uphold the quality of offerings, and maintain the Club's appearance consistently. Program Specialists/Aids will report to work solely when required in their designated area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effectively engage with staff, youth, parents, community leaders, educational institutions, and religious organizations.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess knowledge of youth development principles.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
- Comprehend the Club's philosophy, vision, and objectives.
- Foster and nurture positive relationships with youth.

Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED, or a college degree. A minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience in program delivery is required. (Hourly wage is contingent upon education and experience level.)

Job Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote Core Values.
- Implement designated curriculum.
- Plan, execute, and supervise programs and activities.
- Provide mentorship and role modeling to participants.
- Create engaging and informative displays and bulletin boards that highlight program areas.
- Assist in the implementation of national projects and exhibitions.
- Inspire and mentor youth, adults, and volunteers throughout the creative process.
- Maintain records of participants, schedules, attendance, and program outcomes.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is mandatory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Comfortable managing multiple projects alongside daily responsibilities. Ability to interact positively with diverse personalities while demonstrating tact, maturity, and adaptability. Physical requirements include visual and auditory capabilities, standing for extended periods, and the ability to implement programs effectively. Essential skills for success include effective communication, writing proficiency, and computer literacy.

Environment & Working Conditions:
Work settings include after-school and recreational environments, both indoors and outdoors. Occasional weekend and evening work may be necessary to support the organization's fundraising initiatives and activities.
