Job Summary

At Hyatt, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operation, including staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement short and long-term plans for the hotel's front office operations
  • Manage the front office budget, labor costs, and objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt's service standards and procedures
  • Perform tasks of a front office staff member as needed to facilitate service
  • Ensure all operations and cash handling are conducted in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain excellent communication with the housekeeping department
  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve guest complaints
  • Lead and manage the front office team to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • 4+ years of progressive hotel front office management experience
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with diverse groups of people
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex guest complaints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
