**Job Overview**

The CBRE Assistant Real Estate Manager role in Tempe, Arizona, is an exciting opportunity for those interested in property management and commercial office properties. As a key member of the leadership team, you will support the day-to-day operations of a commercial office property, including marketing, operations, and financial activities.

**About the Role**

As a successful Assistant Real Estate Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to tenant needs and ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly.
  • Ensuring that services are provided consistent with policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual obligations and standards.
  • Assisting in performing periodic regular property inspections and recommending alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning as necessary.
  • Reviewing and recommending approvals for accurate payment of vendor invoices on behalf of the property owner in compliance with the management agreement, CBRE policies, and property management approval authorization matrix.
  • Responsible for assignment of Purchase Orders.
  • Assisting with the preparation of accurate tenant billings.
  • Assisting in coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, and "walks-through" spaces with tenants and tenant improvement department.
  • Assisting in preparing and delivering timely, accurate, and complete reports.
  • May assist in producing research data on budget line items or entering budget data provided by manager into budget reports.
  • May collect and confirm preliminary data for accounts receivable aging reports.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree preferred with 1-2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information.
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
  • Conducts basic financial analysis.
  • Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

**Compensation**

The estimated salary for this role is $73,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, with additional benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, and career growth opportunities.
