This role involves providing essential program support for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) BUILDER Sustainment Management Systems (SMS) program. The selected candidate will be tasked with generating comprehensive building reports that detail the condition of electrical systems and their key components. These reports will serve as a foundation for planning and prioritizing sustainment activities and funding across a significant portfolio of healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct assessments of electrical systems within buildings.

· Utilize existing data to create reports that inform stakeholders about current building conditions.

· Formulate extensive scopes of work for the replacement of outdated equipment.

· Design projects aimed at facility rehabilitation, with varying sizes and complexities.

Core Duties:

· Leverage expertise in electrical systems to devise projects for the repair and enhancement of facilities.

· Provide mentorship and training for new or junior technicians in the field.

· Generate Recapitalization Reports for large-scale medical facilities.

· Ensure precise data collection that accurately reflects field conditions.

· Prepare and deliver briefings as necessary.

· Collaborate closely with Lead Engineering and Program Managers to fulfill all contractual obligations, manage timely deliverables, arrange travel, and oversee field operations. Work in partnership with the organization to support client interests and needs.

· Adhere to all federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

· Attain subject matter expertise in BUILDER.

· Perform additional related duties as assigned.

· Travel may be required up to 25%.

Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is mandatory.

· 3 - 5 years of relevant technical experience with building systems is preferred.

· Previous involvement in infrastructure and facility assessment projects for municipal, state, and Federal entities is advantageous.

· Candidates should possess a solid understanding of low and medium-voltage distribution systems and be familiar with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).

· Eligibility to obtain and maintain a favorable Department of Defense (DoD) Clearance is required.

· Experience in medical facilities is a plus.

· Background in construction and/or facilities management is highly desirable.

· Proven experience in creating detailed reports with engineering-based recommendations is preferred.

· Familiarity with BUILDER SMS or other SMS software platforms is beneficial.

Essential Skills:

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients and company leadership.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

· Excellent analytical abilities.

· Capability to produce thorough and comprehensive technical reports and presentations.

Work Environment: The work setting may vary, including local home office and site visits to DOD medical facilities, along with potential off-site meetings.
