Job Description

The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong foundation in quality management principles and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide shop floor support for manufacturing
  • Accountable for both quality assurance and quality control of products, manufacturing processes and outside vendor services
  • Own gage and CMM validation and out of tolerance investigations
  • Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
  • Lead team in defining effective Root Cause Corrective Actions
  • Lead investigation for Work Station Audit findings, Product Audit findings, and Customer Returns
  • Support manufacturing engineering team to monitor and analyze process capability and define process improvement plans
  • Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
  • Strong understanding of QMS AS9100D or similar
  • Work together with Rutland team across all levels of the organization
  • Work on shop floor with operators to address quality issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • 3 years of Quality Engineering
