Lead Product Engineer

As a Lead Product Engineer in our Manufacturing Process team, you will be responsible for planning and executing engineering activities that impact departmental operations. This role requires a strong understanding of technical disciplines and the ability to develop in-depth knowledge of key business drivers.
Roles and Responsibilities- Develop and execute manufacturing engineering tasks that do not require a 4-year degree, focusing on tactical responsibilities and excluding general administrative work.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, using prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy and strategy.
- Understand key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish your work, as well as integrate your team's work with other teams and contribute to the area.
- Use some level of judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters, but with guidance, using prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members and have a strong understanding of how to hire and develop talent.
- Have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of forming experience, along with experience running manufacturing equipment and producing parts.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing, preferably related to forming.
