Addison Group is looking for a dedicated Information Technology Support Specialist to enhance our client's operational efficiency. This role is crucial in providing technical assistance to users and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to end users and assist with IT-related issues.
  • Engage in client projects and contribute to various IT initiatives.
  • Participate in Global Services projects as needed.
  • Set up and manage audio-visual equipment for meetings and events.
  • Collaborate with the Network team to address server room and wiring closet challenges.
  • Maintain detailed records of support tickets and service requests.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including time submissions and inventory levels.
  • Communicate outages and technical issues to management as necessary.
  • Identify trends in support requests to improve service delivery.
  • Process all service requests efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure all IT equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications.
  • Experience in a legal environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and remote access technologies such as VPN and Citrix.
  • Knowledge of various technologies including VPN and PDAs.
  • Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
