Job Title: Cardiac Stepdown Nurse

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Glens Falls, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms, including ECG interpretation and medication administration.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in New York
  • 3+ years of experience in cardiac stepdown or similar unit
  • Strong proficiency in ECG interpretation and cardiac medication administration
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
