Job Title: Cardiac Stepdown Nurse

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Glens Falls, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Cardiac Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms, including ECG interpretation and medication administration.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in New York State.
  • 3 years of experience in cardiac care, preferably in a stepdown unit.
  • Strong proficiency in ECG interpretation and medication administration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
