Job Title: Cardiac Stepdown Nurse

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Glens Falls, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients in a stepdown unit
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ECGs, and other vital signs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiac care practices
Requirements:
  • Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, and telemetry experience
  • 3 years of experience in a cardiac stepdown unit
  • Strong proficiency in Epic and ability to work during Epic conversion
  • Ability to work nights and flexible scheduling
  • Previous travel experience a plus
