Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cardiac Stepdown unit and be able to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms with ease.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions
  • Interpret and document cardiac rhythms, including ECGs and telemetry readings
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in New York
  • 3 years of experience in a Cardiac Stepdown unit
  • Strong proficiency in interpreting and documenting cardiac rhythms
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
