Spacecraft Integration and Test Systems Engineer

At Blue Origin, we are developing a sustainable infrastructure for space transportation. This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, responsible for establishing a human presence on the lunar surface.
About the RoleThis position will play a critical role in shaping the future of space exploration. As a Spacecraft Integration and Test Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating vehicle hardware, ground support equipment, and analysis tooling to verify system requirements and performance.
Responsibilities- Develop test plans, procedures, and scripts to execute on the Vehicle Test Bed (VTB).
- Conduct formal verification and validation testing, documenting results per program requirements.
- Support integration activities, including wiring, hardware installation, and test bench setup.
- Design, develop, and implement VTB test tools and software to automate testing processes and improve efficiency.
We are seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of relevant experience integrating and testing vehicle systems.
- Experience developing special electronic test equipment and troubleshooting expertise.
- Proficiency in standard electronic lab tests and troubleshooting equipment.
Candidates with advanced degrees or additional experience will be considered for senior roles within the team.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $167,088.00-$233,923.20, depending on location. Additional benefits include opportunities for career growth, professional development, and a collaborative work environment.
