Job Summary:
We seek an experienced Systems Engineering Lead to join our team in Mukilteo, WA. The successful candidate will lead the development of mechanical and pyrotechnic components and systems that surpass customer expectations. This role involves managing customer interactions, conducting project planning, and supporting business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering teams in the development of mechanical and pyrotechnic components and systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Direct customer interactions, including conference calls, meetings, and reviews.
- Guide engineering design, analysis, and testing activities to yield a robust design.
- Undertake project planning to establish project costs and schedules, and to pinpoint resource requirements.
- Aid in business development through proposal writing and new business meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, including at least 2 years in Aerospace and/or Systems Engineering.
- 2 or more years of experience managing teams and/or projects.
- Ability to develop, plan, and execute projects.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
