We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler System Fitter and Installation Specialist to join our team at Performance Systems Integration LLC.

Estimated Salary Range: $44.00 - $65.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and certifications.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, service, and/or repair of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in accordance with national and local codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, service, and/or repair wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems.
  • Perform periodic inspections according to NFPA 25 standards, including internal piping inspections, obstruction investigations, flow tests, and hydro tests.
  • Maintain accurate documentation through the use of Service Trade and state/local documentation as required.
  • Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with customers and communicate information to appropriate personnel for follow-up, quotes, questions, or concerns.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter.
  • Washington Fitter Card.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, & 25.
  • Working knowledge of current codes and standards for fire sprinkler systems.
  • NICET II Water Based Systems certification (highly preferred).
  • Able to work an on-call schedule once every 6 weeks.
