Job Overview

As a Restaurant General Manager at Tim Hortons, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of a single restaurant and driving profitability, guest satisfaction, and team development.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Profitability
    • Managing the restaurant's P&L to increase profitability
    • Driving sales through proactive guest service, people development, and operations management
  • Guest Experience
    • Motivating team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, friendly, and fast service
    • Managing the guest experience through operations and timely response to guest issues
  • People Development
    • Leading the recruitment and selection process to build an effective restaurant team
    • Coaching and feedback to Team Members, Shift Coordinators, and Assistant Managers to increase capabilities and raise restaurant performance
  • Operations Management
    • Managing labor using optimal Manager staffing and Team Member scheduling
    • Ensuring compliance with government regulations, employment laws, and company policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience
  • A strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to prioritize own and others' work and time
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and long or irregular shifts as needed
  • A valid driver's license (if required by location)
Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary range of $58,600 - $65,000 annually + bonus. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
