Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all day-to-day operations of the Meadows Market Café, including planning, execution, and supervision of staff.
  • Develop and implement training processes for new and current staff members.
  • Create and execute standard daily menus, daily specials, special events, and holiday menus in collaboration with the kitchen chefs.
  • Oversee daily production and preparation of all food served in the café, working closely with the kitchen chefs.
  • Ensure the kitchen and service areas are set up for each meal period and the café is attractively presented for service.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory of all stock in the café.
  • Schedule Market Café employees for all shifts, including holidays and special events.
  • Coordinate theme and special events, ensuring proper setup and execution.
  • Perform all other tasks as required by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant, hotel, country club, or senior living community, with two years in a management position.
  • Fluent in the English language.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, squatting, stooping, and bending.
