Customer Service Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift.
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands.
