Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Attendant to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Front Desk Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our residents, guests, and staff, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and acknowledge all residents, guests, staff, volunteers, and vendors with courtesy and urgency, opening doors and providing assistance where possible.
  • Service Requests: Respond promptly and positively to all resident service opportunities, including requests, complaints, questions, concerns, and suggestions. Attempt to resolve them and/or elevate to the appropriate building staff per building policy. Follow up with clients to ensure successful completion.
  • Communication: Answer the telephone using professional telephone etiquette, taking accurate messages and ensuring their delivery. Clearly communicate issues and outcomes to building manager, supervisor, and following shift.
  • Environment: Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby/common spaces and entry area for residents and visitors.
  • Requirements: No previous experience required, but preference given to work experience in a customer service setting. Excellent customer service skills, proficiency, teamwork, and positive demeanor required. Organization skills and orientation to accuracy and detail. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
