Pediatric Developmental and Behavioral Clinic Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Developmental and Behavioral Clinic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, triage, and assessment, while working effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain and accurately record patients' vital signs, reporting abnormal values to treating providers
- Room patients according to departmental guidelines, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment
- Assist with patient check-in, medication administration, and treatment under the direction of a physician or APP
- Participate in in-office procedures, documenting results in the electronic health record
- Review and triage incoming test results, patient requests, and pharmacy renewals, facilitating call-backs to patients as necessary
- Assist in scheduling patients for in-person and telehealth visits, ensuring seamless coordination of care
- Participate in nurse visits, including medication review, education, and follow-up, providing patient and parent education
- Facilitate the utilization of resources to meet patient outcomes, contributing to facility, state, and national quality data metrics
- Associates degree from a state-accredited Registered Nursing program
- NYS current RN licensure to practice professional nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Certification in specialty, ambulatory setting preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with computer software, including electronic health records
- Ability to give medications via all routes and calculate medication doses
