Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an Occupational Therapist with Pinnacle Home Care Inc., you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and develop personalized treatment plans to address their unique needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' homes to identify potential hazards and barriers to independent living.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities and promote independence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive plans of care.
  • Supervise and train certified occupational therapy assistants as needed.
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition of care for patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Florida.
  • Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
