About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN RN Home Health Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Healthcare at Home. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs, and develop individualized plans of care to address these needs.
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patient goals.
  • Supervise and provide clinical direction to home health aides and LPNs/LVNs to ensure quality and continuity of services.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and emergency call as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Minimum of one or more years of home health, public nursing, or acute hospital nursing experience.
  • Familiarity with Medicare home health regulations, documentation requirements, ICD-10 coding, and PPS.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance.
  • Current BCLS Certification prior to providing patient care.
