Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to improve balance, walking, and prevent decline after an illness or surgery.
  • Provide patient education on improving mobility and function, and ensure safe mobility in the home environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
  • One year experience preferred.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
  • Ability to return the individual to optimum and productive level within the patient's capabilities.
