Position Overview
The National Association of Music Merchants is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Neuropsychology at the Professor level within the Department of Psychology. We are looking for candidates with a specialization in areas such as Cognitive, Affective, Behavioral, or Social Neuropsychology, who possess expertise in utilizing various neuroimaging methodologies (including MRI, fMRI, Diffusion Imaging, MR Spectroscopy, etc.) in their research endeavors.
Detailed Position Information
The successful candidate will join a rapidly expanding neuropsychology community and contribute to ongoing initiatives, including the development of undergraduate programs and state-of-the-art research facilities. The ideal applicant will hold a Ph.D. and have a proven track record of conducting impactful research in neuropsychology, with a history of securing external funding to support both fundamental and applied research projects.
We encourage candidates who are enthusiastic about interdisciplinary collaboration and are eager to work within diverse research teams. While a doctoral degree in Psychology or Neuropsychology is preferred, we will consider applicants with qualifications in related disciplines. As part of the Psychology Department, the successful candidate will have access to resources for establishing an active research laboratory and will mentor graduate students.
Teaching Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise, particularly in newly developed neuropsychology subjects. We are looking for individuals who are committed to advancing our department's vision of achieving global recognition in rigorous neuropsychological research utilizing diverse neuroimaging techniques.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. and demonstrate an active and productive research agenda in neuropsychology.
