Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Senior Lifestyle. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe administration of medications and providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their medication administration records (MARs) and treatment administration records (TARs).
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and eating.
  • Document resident information in the daily log and notify supervisors of any concerns.
  • Assist residents with needs as assigned and answer calls in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily cleaning of medicine carts and restock as needed.
  • Participate in staff training and in-services to maintain knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ months of experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
  • Current Medication Technician certification is required, depending on state regulations.
  • Acceptable proficiency in English is required to perform job duties and communicate with supervisors and other employees.
