Responsibilities- Provide nursing care specific to the age of the population served
- Take vital signs and document according to facility protocols
- Record patient input and output as assigned
- Maintain competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements
- Provide patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness
- Completion of a state-approved certified nursing program and/or successful passing of a competency evaluation program which meets state regulations
- Meets state specific certification requirements and possesses unrestricted certification as a CNA
- At least six months of work experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting
