Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

At Senior Lifestyle, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
  • Recognize and report any abnormal changes in a resident's body functioning to a supervisor.
  • Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
  • Transfer, position, and turn residents safely and efficiently.
  • Provide skin care to residents, promoting their overall health and well-being.
  • Contribute to the resident's assessment and plan of care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Provide nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services, supporting residents in achieving their full potential.
  • Follow the schedule of resident needs set out by the supervisor, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Promote and protect resident rights, respecting their autonomy and decision-making capacity.
  • Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CNA licensure, depending on state requirements and regulations.
  • Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with the supervisor and other employees, and respond to emergency situations.
