Job Description

At The Sheridan at Eastside, we are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe administration of medications and providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with our facility's policies and procedures.
  • Provide personal care and general nursing services to residents, including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and dressing.
  • Document resident information and vital signs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in staff training and in-services to maintain current knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Certified Medication Aide certification or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ months of experience in a senior living setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends.
