Hospice Care Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Tropical Health LLC. As a Hospice Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to terminally ill patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
• Assist with the administration of medications as directed by the physician

Requirements:

• Active certified CNA with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
