Reporting Structure

This position reports to the VP of Americas Customer Services.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the chance to perform service tasks in accordance with established work protocols and ABB's quality and safety standards. Your daily activities will involve delivering exceptional customer service, planning, and executing service tasks as per client requirements and expectations. You will demonstrate your expertise by ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication regarding service timelines and expectations. This position operates under a remote work model. You will be part of the Measurement & Analytics division, ideally based in Oklahoma or the Southwestern US region. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to identify opportunities for operational enhancements and resolving pain points. You will conduct field service operations, diagnose technical issues, and perform analyses through remote or on-site engagements in service categories and products for which you are certified. Additionally, you will prepare material lists necessary for service tasks and ensure the availability and quality of all materials, parts, and equipment for service operations. You may also serve as a trainer for field service associates and clients. You will be part of a high-performing team, where you can excel.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of engineering or field experience.
  • At least 2 years of field engineering experience.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% as needed.
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid passport and driver's license.
  • Technical expertise in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of gas analyzers.
  • Ability to cultivate strong customer relationships.
  • Proven capability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
