Job Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer at Applied Materials, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading our cutting-edge equipment at customer sites around the globe. This is a unique opportunity to work with the latest technology and be part of a vibrant and diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain our equipment at customer sites, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance our equipment's performance and efficiency.
  • Train junior engineers on site-related safety procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment support or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and thermodynamics.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
