Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Under the guidance of the VP of Slot Operations, the incumbent will oversee and manage the technical functions of the Slot Operations division. This includes, but is not limited to, slot floor design, training and development of Slot Technical Staff, and ensuring compliance with Internal Control Standards regarding gaming devices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Gaming Commission Regulations and internal policies.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of slot machines.
- Review and update policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate Slot floor Computer-Aided Design (CAD) maps and inventory records.
- Ensure the security of Slot software and hardware systems.
- Manage staffing processes including recruitment, training, and development of Slot Operations technical personnel.
- Safeguard the integrity and security of the organization, employees, and guests.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with five to seven years of experience in a Casino Gaming Environment. Candidates should have at least five years of leadership experience in a Slot Performance department and experience with major Slot systems.
Work Environment:
- The role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible hours, including holidays and weekends, are expected.
- The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to noise and crowds.
- Effective communication in English is essential for interacting with guests.
Closing:
Preference in hiring is given to members of the Seminole Tribe and other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
Final candidates will be required to complete a background check as part of the employment process.
