Job Title: Senior Director of Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Operations to join our team at Hire-Authority. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our janitorial services company, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Lead Inside Sales Effort: Drive annual revenue growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies and leading a high-performing sales team.
  • Customer Retention and Growth: Develop and execute customer retention programs to minimize churn and drive business growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Cost Control and Optimization: Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor expenses to ensure maximized margin and profit dollars.
  • Labor Management: Ensure labor and expenses are managed within budgetary guidelines, leveraging best practices for labor balancing and efficiency.
  • Area Manager Oversight: Lead and develop a team of area managers, providing coaching and guidance to drive performance and growth.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute a quality assurance program to ensure exceptional service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Special Projects and Flex Team: Oversee special projects and the flex team, driving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Software and Technology: Utilize existing software and technology to drive business performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategic solutions.
  • Branch Models and Operations: Develop and implement branch models to drive operational excellence, creating a high-performing operations team.
  • Performance Evaluation and Improvement: Establish performance standards, evaluate team performance, and collaborate with the CEO, President, and CFO to drive continuous improvement.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster outstanding customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and driving business growth through customer retention and expansion.
  • Strategy and Budget Meetings: Participate in strategy and budget meetings, contributing to business planning and decision-making.
  • Executive Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to oversee and manage all facets of the company's operations, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Policies, Procedures, and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain established policies, procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Team Motivation and Development: Motivate and develop team members to provide exceptional service, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Dress Code and Hygiene: Ensure consistent application and adherence to established dress code and hygiene guidelines.
  • Customer Complaints and Resolution: Investigate customer complaints and communicate effective resolutions.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensure timely ordering and replacement of supplies, signage, and uniforms to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with area managers and executive team members, driving collaboration and business growth.
  • Industry Events and Organizations: Attend industry events and organizations, driving business growth and networking opportunities.
  • Succession Planning: Develop and maintain a succession plan to ensure qualified successors are in training or in place for key positions.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Janitorial Industry Experience: Proven experience in the janitorial and commercial cleaning industry, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a skilled, diverse, and dedicated staff, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Communication and Implementation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and implement company objectives and initiatives.
  • Judgment and Problem-Solving: Strong ability to make sound judgments and solve complex problems, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Task Management: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently, prioritizing business needs and driving results.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to meetings as directed, representing the company and driving business growth.
  • Ethics and Integrity: High-level of ethics and integrity, with a strong commitment to driving business excellence and customer satisfaction.
