About Us:

Korean American Family Services (KFAM) is a leading non-profit organization specializing in gender-based violence, mental health, foster/adoption, and social services. Our mission is to empower the Korean-American community through education, support, and advocacy.

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Program Specialist for our Substance Abuse Prevention and Control program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing prevention programs, providing educational outreach, and building relationships with community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement prevention programs for API youth and families
  • Develop and disseminate educational materials on substance use prevention and control
  • Collaborate with community partners to build relationships and promote program activities
  • Provide educational outreach at churches, community groups, and other venues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Bilingual Korean, Chinese, or Tagalog highly preferred
  • Previous experience working with API community or non-profit a plus
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, good at multi-tasking, and detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—good at working with people
  • Must have driver's license and valid car insurance

Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000 per year
