Job Overview

At St. John's Community Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work or Professional Clinical Counseling and a minimum of three years' experience as a social worker therapist in a community mental health environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and integrate behavioral health services across the organization.
  • Maintain protocols and procedures for integrated behavioral health activities.
  • Assist primary care providers in recognizing, treating, and managing mental health and psychosocial issues.
  • Conduct client intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations.
  • Provide consultation to primary care providers to enhance patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Professional Clinical Counseling.
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a social worker therapist in a community mental health environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of multi-ethnic and underserved communities.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (Preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in a Managed Care setting.
