We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our fast-paced medical team at Jobot. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about healthcare and wants to make a significant difference in patients' lives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical administration, with a focus on the overall patient experience, while handling all of the administrative functions of the front office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all pre-authorizations and prior authorizations for procedures and medications, working closely with insurance companies to ensure coverage and avoid delays in treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care, including coordinating appointments, tests, and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of administrative systems and procedures to improve efficiency and patient care.
  • Handle patient inquiries, providing accurate and timely information and assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes and developments in the medical industry.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical administration, preferably in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems and other medical software.
  • Experience in handling pre-authorizations and prior authorizations.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and insurance companies.
