About the Role:

The Grant Administrator will provide central-level post-award financial administrative support regarding grant and contract policies and procedures, compliance, and regulatory issues. This role reports directly to the Assistant Director of Sponsored Program Administration and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Provide post-award financial administrative support for sponsored projects in an assigned portfolio of awards.\
  • Maintain and implement sound internal accounting controls to efficiently manage assigned grants and contracts.\
  • Review and evaluate grant or contract agreements and prepare financial account set-up requests in accordance with award terms and conditions.\
  • Prepare all required external reports according to agency guidelines on a timely and accurate basis.\
  • Assist in the close out of assigned grants and contracts and prepare for an annual audit.\
  • Daily processing and evaluation of salary and non-salary expenditures, budget appropriations, financial reporting, and accounting unit maintenance.\\-
Requirements:\

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited 4-year University is preferred, along with 0-3 years of accounting or related experience.

Salary:

$68,000 per year.
